Madeline Jane Jenkins

Madeline Jane Jenkins, 24, of Sallis, Mississippi passed away January 14, 2023. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2023 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with a private family Committal service at Sallis Cemetery. Rev. Mike Barrentine and Rev. Gene Richardson will officiate.

Madeline was born March 11, 1998, to Timothy and Allie Speed Jenkins in Kosciusko, Mississippi. She was a maintenance coordinator with Milwaukee Tools, and a member of Harmonia Congregational Methodist Church. Madeline was expecting a child that she was going to name Mila Jane Jenkins.

Madeline is survived by her parents, Tim and Allie Jenkins of Sallis, Mississippi; sister, Mary Kate Bartlett of Sallis, Mississippi; niece, Kennedy Linn Bartlett; great-aunt, Irene Serafin; great-uncle, Ray (Johnnie) Jenkins; aunt, Debra Cain Lindsey; uncles, Allen Speed, and Danny (Sondra) Cain, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, George and Mary Helen McMullen Speed and paternal grandparents, Jerry and Mildred Jenkins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Cain, Ryan Cain, Hayden Johnson,  Daniel Cain, Wesley Dew, and Herbert Dew.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Holmes County Sheriffs' Department, Tchula Police Department, and The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Lexington, and Jackson for their care and generosity while Madeline was in their care.
