Lorena Louise Ballard Sallis In Loving Memory Lorena Louise Jackson Ballard Lorena passed away at home with family on February 1st at 6:45 P.M. from a lengthy illness in Sallis. She was one of four daughters of Joseph H. Jackson and Maudie L. (Seawright) Jackson of McAdams. Lorena married D.B. Ballard On May 15th, 1957. They were married 45 years before his death in 2002. They had two sons together during their marriage, Joe D. Ballard and Bobby L. Ballard. Lorena was a welder at Hunter Engineering in Durant for many years, where she later retired. She was a member of McAdams Baptists Church and attended First Baptist Church of Kosciusko on occasion. In addition to her parents Lorena was proceeded in death by her husband, D.B. Ballard of Kosciusko, Sister, JoAnn Jackson Quinn of Natchez, and Granddaughter, Bianca Nicole Ballard of Ridgeland. Survivors are two sons, Joe D. Ballard and wife, Shirley Ballard of Sallis, Bobby L. Ballard and wife, Sonia Ballard of Ridgeland, Two Granddaughters, Stephanie Ballard Land and husband, Josh Land of Pennington, Tx., Celeste Ballard Carby and husband, Bishop Carby of Madison, One Grandson, Eric Adcock of Ridgeland.
