Linda Kay Burkes

Mrs. Burkes was born August 27, 1944, in Attala County, to Ewell Wade and Thelma Bain. She was long employed with the Attala County Nursing Center, and a member of Carson Ridge Baptist Church. Those surviving her are her husband, Hubert Bain; a daughter, Pennie Shea Burkes, of Clinton, MS; sisters, Shirley (James) Taylor, Charlene (Billy) Clark, and Pamela (Randy) Braswell, all of Ethel; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Malcolm Bain. Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association.
