Lillian Reynolds Cummins, 93, of Brandon, MS, passed away on July 19, 2023, in Walnut Grove, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James Jewel Cummins in 2017. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Doty Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in Doty Springs Cemetery.. Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS will officiate.
She was born in MS on May 19, 1930. She was known as a seamstress. She owned several alteration shops throughout her life.
Survivors include 3 children: Ann (Stuckey) Godfrey of Hoover, AL, Sheila (David) Bennett of Murfreesboro, TN, and Jim (Kathy) of Brandon MS: grandchildren, Jason (Christine) Godfrey, Carrie (Chris) Slavich, Jessica (Alex) Carpenter, Ryan (Tiffany) Bennett, Brittany Cummins, and William Cummins; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Miranda Godfrey, Hannah and Madelyn Slavich, James Cummins, Collins Carpenter, and Daisy Bennett; sister, Virginia Blass; special friends, Patricia Pilgrim and Treasa Rowzee; and her dog, Little Bit.
