Kimberly Leigh Wiggers of Flowood, Mississippi, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 19, 2025. She was born to Faye and Scott Wiggers on March 29, 1977. Kim was a 1995 graduate of Kosciusko High School. While growing up, Kim spent countless hours learning and leading in her church youth group at First Baptist Church where her mother was on staff. As a student, Kim was always involved in campus activities at school, and her bubbly personality endeared her as a friend to everyone she met. After graduation from high school, Kim continued her education at Mississippi State University where she found much delight in her banking and finance courses. Kim graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance and she followed her professional passion by accepting a Credit Analyst position with Colonial Bank in Birmingham, Alabama. Her banking prowess thrilled the heart of her father, who had been a life-long banker himself. Kim returned to Mississippi and worked for Merchants and Farmers Bank as a Loan Review Officer for six years. During that time, she advanced her credentials by furthering her education as a graduate of Barret School of Banking through Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee. Kim was currently employed as Vice President and Senior Asset Review Manager with Trustmark National Bank in Jackson, Mississippi.
When away from the office, Kim thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of traveling. Whether near or far, she enjoyed the experience of new cultures, climates, and culinary adventures. She and her sister Alison often visited intriguing destinations which became highlights of Kim’s conversations and social media posts.
