Kathryn Horne Blanton

Mrs. Kathryn Blanton, formerly of Kosciusko, MS, born January 29, 1919, passed away at age 98 on April 11, 2017 in Natchez, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Joshua and Mary Horne (McDaniel); her husband, William Elwood Blanton; four brothers, Herbert Horne, Robert Horne, Everett Horne and Hillery Horne; one sister, Mattie Wagner; and one daughter-in-law, Gracie Blanton. She is survived by two sons, Allen Blanton (Natchez, MS) and Thomas (Vicki) Blanton, (Sacramento, CA); two grandsons, Woody (Miranda) Blanton, (Pearl, MS) and Dewey (Tracy) Blanton, (Washington, MS); one granddaughter, Morgan Blanton; and two grandsons, Austin Blanton and Trace Blanton, (Washington, MS) and a number of nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Jordan Funeral Home, 845 Highway 12 East, Kosciusko, MS. 39090 with graveside services to follow at Parkway Cemetery, 906 S Huntington Street, Kosciusko, MS 39090. Attending Pallbearers: Woody Blanton, Dewey Blanton, Austin Blanton, Billy Tolleson, Ralph Milner & Gerald Pender. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association on her behalf.
