Johnny V. Cook McCool Johnny V. Cook, 72, passed away on October 4, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Friday, October 6 from 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 6 at 10 a.m. in the Liberty Hill Cemetery with burial to follow. Rev. Doyle Mitchell will officiate. He was a member of Liberty Hill Methodist Church and the American Legion. Survivors include his son, David (Stephanie) Cook of Bulverde, TX; grandchildren, Danielle Cook, Bryson Cook, David Cook, Jr., all of Bulverde, TX; great-grandson, Ryder Cook; brother, Boyce Cook of McCool; sister, Iva (Ricky) Dees of French Camp; two nieces, Kayla Rumly and Angel Chennault; and three nephews, Rodney Cook, Shane Cook, and Mitchell Dees. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lynn Boyd Cook; parents, Vernice and Iva Merle Summerhill Cook; and brother, Mitchell Ray Cook. Pallbearers are Boyce Cook, Shane Black, Jason Chennault, Shane Cook, Mitchell Dees, and Rodney Cook. Honorary pallbearer is Bryson Cook.
