Kosciusko, MS formerly of Vicksburg, MS Mr. Johnny Sanders 54, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Vicksburg, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko with burial in Parkway Cemetery with Rev. Randall McCool officiating. Survivors: include his wife Lisa G. Sanders of Kosciusko, MS, Daughters: Glenda Luke (Brian) of Vicksburg, MS, Sarah Smith (Morgan), Kosciusko, MS. Son: Charles Sanders of Vicksburg, MS. & his mother Catherine Sanders of Vicksburg, MS. Sister: Charlene Gentry of Carthage, MS, brother Jerry Sanders of Vicksburg, MS., Darryll Sanders (Deon) of Vicksburg, MS. Grandchildren: Katlin Luke of Vicksburg, Delaney McKinnon & Reagan Smith of Kosciusko and brother-in-law Doyle Goss. He was preceded in death by his father George Earl Sanders and a grandson: Robin Walker Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a Marine Electrical Technician with The U.S. Corp of Engineers Department of Defense on the Mat Sinking Unit vessel. He was born in Baton Rouge, La. November 23, 1960, raised in Kosciusko, lived in Vicksburg and moved back to Kosciusko four years ago. He was an avid cook and loved his horse and dog. Member of Atkinson's Hunting Club, Youth Center Lake, Hard worker, couldn't sit still. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
