John Neyman

John Summerfield Neyman, 72, of Kosciusko passed away March 12, 2023, at Baptist- Attala Hospital. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2023 and 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Jordan Funeral Home. Graveside service is 2: p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, Mississippi.

John was born November 15, 1950, in Columbus, Mississippi to Victor Clifford Neyman and Dorothy Milne Neyman. He served in the United States Navy on an aircraft carrier during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Catholic Church. John was a two-time World Champion on a drag racing team. He loved jeopardy. John’s children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.

John is survived by son, Connor Neyman of Kosciusko, Mississippi; daughters, Allison (Houston) Grantham of Starkville, Mississippi and Caitlin Neyman of Kosciusko, Mississippi; brother, Paul Neyman of Jackson, Mississippi; sisters, Susan Neyman and Nancy Neyman of Columbus, Mississippi and Victoria Poss of Thomasville, Georgia; grandchildren, Grayson Proctor, Averie Proctor, Jackson Grantham, and step-grandson, Levi Grantham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Clifford Neyman and Dorothy Milne Neyman.

Serving as pallbearers are Roy Webber, Jared Blanton, Dylan Lassiter, Houston Grantham, and Sammy Westbrook.
