John Henry Bowie, 82, of Williamsville Community passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his residence. Graveside Services are Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, September 24, 2021 11:00a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Dallas Beecham will be ministering. John was a veteran of the Army Reserve and National Guard. He was also a 32nd degree Mason. John attended Kosciusko First United Pentecostal Church. He was a route salesman and bartender for Pearl River Resort. Mr. Bowie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Ann Bowie; one daughter, Kimberly Bowie (Michael) Cuny; six grandchildren, Christopher Bowie, Sean Bowie, Stephen Bowie, Alexandra “Ally” Cuny, Shelby Cuny, and Joshua Cuny; three great-grandchildren Jude, Mason, and Zander Bowie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clovis Woodard and Eddie Mae Therrell Bowie Solari; one son, James Clovis Bowie; one great-grandaughter, Hazley Bowie. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Bowie, Sean Bowie, Stephen Bowie, and Will Dunlap. Memorial may be made to Kosciusko First United Pentecostal Church 601 West Jefferson Street Kosciusko, MS 39090.
