John Allen Blaine, Sr., 67, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 11, 2014. Visitation is Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Rev. Doyle Mitchell and Rev. Larry Harvey will officiate. He was a member of the Ethel Methodist Church. He was employed with Plantation Lamp and oversaw the maintenance for the Ethel Rural Water Association. Survivors include his wife, Charlene Thrasher Blaine of Ethel; son, John Allen Blaine, II of Ethel; grandchildren, Donnie Wayne Boyles, Jr. and Kelly Marie Leonard; great-grandchildren, Xiannah Leonard, Alex Leonard, and Larkin Gant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Helen Blaine. Pallbearers are Charles Thrasher, Lee Howard, Wayne Boyles, Pat Hill, Chris Triplett, and Roy McCrory. Memorials may be made to the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery Fund
