Joel Edward Parish

Mr. Joel Edward Parish age 70 passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Bear Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Parish to officiate with burial in Bear Creek Cemetery. Visitation; 11:00 a.m. til noon Saturday at Bear Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Parish is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mary E. Parish of McCool. Daughter: Ginger Marie Parish of Richland, MS. Son: Larry Parish of Richland, MS and Step-Daughter Patricia Breithaupt and her husband Joe. Grandchildren: Heather Parish, Kristina Readman and husband Peyton, Sean Breithaupt and Michelle Breithaupt. Great-Grandchildren: Carson Parish, Hagan, Logan and Lily Breithaupt. Sister: Margaret Ellis of Pascagoula and brother Jerry Parish and wife Dianne of Ethel,MS. Host of Nieces, Nephews and Great-Nieces and Great Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Joel Alfred" Snooks" Parish and Ginger Summer Power Parish and a Step-Son Billy Wilson. Mr. Parish was a long time member of Bear Creek Baptist Church and retired Machinist with Milwaukee Electric Tools after a 26 year career. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bear Creek Cemetery fund or the American Heart Association. Pallbearers will be Peyton Readman, Tim Robison, Corey Parish, Chance Parish, Larry Parish, Joe Breithaupt, Tyron Jennings and Roger Jennings.
