Joe Mix

Joe L Mix, 94, of Clinton, Kentucky passed away peacefully at ICF Nursing Facility on March 1, 2023. Joe was a resident of Kosciusko for 59 years. Visitation is 11 AM Friday, March 10, 2023 at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is 12 noon Friday, March 10, 2023 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Parkway Cemetery. Ministering is Reverend Donald Self.

Joe Mix was born September 15, 1928 to Vester Mix and Jodie Mix in Carlisle County, Kentucky. Joe graduated from Milburn High School in 1946. Joe served as a corporal in the US Army with a tour in Germany. Joe was a member and servant in Second Baptist Church, Kosciusko for over 50 years. Joe had a wide range of interests including electronic repair, house remodeling, college sports, and church events. Joe spent 30 years at Lawrin Lamp Company of Kosciusko. Joe Loved and spent extra time with his family and his friends.

Joe is survived by his son, Terry Mix (wife Judy Mix) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Granddaughter Annie Edmonds (husband Isaac Edmonds) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 2 great grandchildren, Etta Edmonds and Hattie Edmonds of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters Sue Featherston of Spring Hill, Kentucky and Jane Burgess of Arlington, Kentucky.

Joe is preceded in death by his loving wife, Pattie Mix.
