Jewel Charlene Clark

Jewel Charlene Clark, 85, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023, at her residence near Ethel. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, April 17, 2023, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, and Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm from the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in the Carson Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Doyle Mitchell and Rev. Lynn Cain will officiate the services.

Charlene owned and operated Triple R Grocery in Ethel, MS, for 29 years before retirement. She was a member of Carson Ridge Baptist Church.

Mrs. Clark is survived by two sons, Randal Clark and his wife, Carol, and Rodger Clark and his wife, Angela, both of Ethel, MS; one daughter, Regina Clark Faulkner of Carthage, MS; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Pam Braswell of Ethel, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Clark; parents, Ewell Wade Bain and Thelma Overton Russom Bain; one brother, Malcolm Wade Bain; and two sisters, Shirley Faye Taylor and Linda Kay Burkes.

Hunter Clark, Conner Clark, Noah Faulkner, Chance Braswell, Wesley Carlisle, and Cole Reed will be pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Taylor and David Odom.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.
