Jerry Wayne Brown, 80, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Baptist-Leake Medical Center in Carthage. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Don Ray will officiate. Survivors include his longtime companion, Margie Owen of Carthage; brother, Charles Hayden Brown of Philadelphia; nephew, Stephen Ray Brown of Dallas, TX; niece Cyndy Vowell Stone; and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Vowell Brown; and his parents, William Clifton and Nola Mae Charlton Brown. Pallbearers are Coyt Lawrence, Charles Hopson, Ron Summerall, David Parker, Johnny Belk, and John Ellingburg. Honorary pallbearer is Stephen Brown.
