Jennie Bell Cummins, 95, a lifelong resident of Kosciusko, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at the Atwood Personal Care Home in Kosciusko. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday, August 8, 2022, at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Barry C. Corbett and Rev. Jerry Meggs will officiate the services. Jennie Bell was a member of Crestview Congregational Methodist Church in Kosciusko, and a retired factory worker where she worked at several factories in the Kosciusko area. After retirement, she worked at Wal-Mart as a door greeter. Mrs. Cummins is survived by five daughters, Drunette Mayo and her husband, Cliff of Kosciusko, Delois Adcock and her husband, Dewitt of McAdams, Rita Loftin and her husband, Kim of Kosciusko, Glenda Hill of Kosciusko, Shelia Parenton and her husband, Timmy of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren, Kim (Tommy) Alston, Ken Adcock, Jennifer (Mike) Taylor, Michelle Ramage, Amy (Jay) Price, Scott Hill, and Todd Hill; ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben Earl Lucas and Sara Edna McKinnon Lucas Busby; her husband, Percy Dewitt Cummins; two sons, Percy Dewitt Cummins, Jr., Ricky Dewayne Cummins; son-in-law, Ricky Hill; two sisters, Bernadine Rogers, Sara Hill; and two brothers, Gene Busby and Lemoyne Busby. Pallbearers will be Ken Adcock, Scott Hill, Todd Hill, Jay Price, Loftin Price, Lucas Price, Gary Rigby, and Tyler Perry. Honorary pallbearers will be Kim Alston, Jennifer Taylor, Michelle Ramage, Amy Price, and the great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Kosciusko First Baptist Church, Crestview Congregational Methodist Church, Gideon’s International, or the charity of your choice.
