Janice Carol Mann, 75, of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. Graveside service is 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Mike Barrentine and Jeremy Grantham are officiating.
Janice was born October 17, 1948, in Attala County, Mississippi to Grover Doris Grantham and Vera Lee Herod Grantham. Janice worked at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in High School, then worked for Dr. Stanley Hartness for many years. She retired from the Attala County Health Department. Janice attended Harvest Point Baptist Church. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, and Bunko.
Janice is survived by her husband Travis Mann of Kosciusko, Mississippi; son Jimmy (Penny) Mann of Kosciusko, Mississippi; brother Scotty Grantham of Zemuly community; grandchildren Jena (Jacob) Chambley, Adyson Mann, and Aubri Mann; great-grandchildren Evie Kate Chambley and Brinley Chambley; and lifelong friend Linda Shelley.
She was preceded in death by her parents Grover Doris Grantham and Vera Lee Herod Grantham, and her son Benny Mann, and brother Lavoy Grantham.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeremy “Fred” Grantham, Branson Grantham, Mike Mann, Paul Davis, Donny Andrews, and Willie Nevels.
