James Wiley Watkins, Jr., 67, of McCool, MS passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Baptist- Attala Hospital. Visitation is 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Harmony Baptist Church with burial to follow at Harmony Cemetery. Rev. Timothy Black will be officiating. James was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was in construction. James is survived by his wife Kathy Watkins of McCool, MS; son Josh (Felicia) Watkins of McCool, MS; daughter Cassie (Kyle) Holdiness of Noxapater, MS; brother Bill (Shannon) Watkins of Raymond, MS; sister Charlotte (John) Moore of Weir, MS; grandchildren Chelsey (Josh) Thrasher, Erin (Roy)Bell, Seth Keller, Gavin Keller, and Keegan Watkins; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents James McDonald Watkins and Beatrice Lindsay Watkins; brother Tommy Watkins; sisters Barbara Oakes, Minnie McDaniel, and Lena Goza. Serving as pallbearers are Josh Watkins, Daniel Simmons, Seth Keller, Jeffery Black, Justin Watkins, and Brian Watkins.
