James "Jimmy" Atkinson Teasley

Departed from this world on May 15, 2015 to be with his heavenly Father. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 17, 1947. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan Weldon Teasley; son, Kevin (Rosie) Teasley of Nashville, TN; daughter, Jane Clair (Kurt) Shettles of Tupelo; 7 grandchildren -- Kennedy, Micah, and Molly Jane Teasley; Sally Grace, Gray, Mamie, and Lily Shettles. He was a 1969 graduate of University of Mississippi. He was a businessman in Kosciusko, MS where he was a member of First Presbyterian Church. More recently, he was a member of Lawndale Presbyterian Church in Tupelo. He was passionate about Ole Miss, an avid reader, a golf enthusiast, and, most of all, loved his family well. Known to his grandchildren as "Teacy", he was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 4 pm at Lawndale Presbyterian Church in Tupelo, MS. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Sunday at Lawndale Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lawndale Presbyterian Church in Tupelo; or made to the college campus ministry, Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) General Fund, 1700 N. Brown Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
