James Hancock

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 10th at Kosciusko First Baptist Church with burial in Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS. Mr. James "Jim" Hancock 73 passed this life Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Jim was a retired Director of Safety at Orlando Utilities in Orlando FL, a member of Mims Baptist Church in Mims, FL and a former National Guardsman. After retirement, Jim moved to Kosciusko, MS to be closer to his wife's family. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Green Hancock of Kosciusko, MS; his sisters, Linda Moore and Carolyn Hancock; and one brother, Bill Hancock. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Odell Hancock, Sr. and Jane Barker Hancock. Pallbearers are Stephen Franks, Derek Hinson, Shaun Skelton, Daniel Burks, Harold Degray, and Frankie Cummins.
