Kosciusko, MS Dr. James David Neaves of Kosciusko, MS passed away at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson on November 14, 2014 after an extended illness. He was born in Goodman, MS on January 30, 1947. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Parkway Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 17, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home. Dr. Neaves graduated from Holmes Agricultural High School as an outstanding student. An avid Mississippi State University fan and alumnus, he graduated from the University Of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis in 1971, and practiced dentistry in Kosciusko until recently. Dr. Neaves was a member of the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association and the Magnolia Dentists' Study Club. He was a member of Kosciusko United Methodist Church. Dr. Neaves is survived by his wife, Pamela Lee Neaves, son David Edward (Tonya) Neaves of Winchester, Virginia, daughters Angela Kay Nichols (Jay) of Memphis, TN and Lea Ann Macknally (Whit) of Birmingham, Alabama, grandchildren James, John Dallas and Megan Nichols, Jackson and Emily Macknally. He is also survived by his sister Ann Neaves Boling (Bill) of Gulf Shores, Alabama. He was predeceased by his parents Lotta Skelton Neaves and J.D. Neaves of Goodman, MS. Memorials may be made to Kosciusko First United Methodist Church.
