James "Clay" Bell, 50, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Baptist Desoto in Southaven, MS. Clay was born in Memphis, TN in January of 1970. He graduated from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS with a degree in Marketing. His entire business career was as a marketing representative for numerous golf supply manufacturers; he never got tired of traveling to the golf courses and country clubs throughout the U.S. to "work". Clay was passionate about golf, fishing, hunting, and spending time with the people he loved. Clay was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.T. and Hilda Shields, Francis Roberts Bell and Claude A. Bell, Jr., all of Kosciusko, MS and by his mother, Linda Shields of Southaven, MS and Kosciusko. He leaves behind to mourn him, his son, Chas Bell of Southaven, MS, and his bonus sons, Skyler and Tucker Smith of Southaven, MS; his father and stepmother, Claude A. Bell, III and Julia Baker Bell of Olive Branch, MS; brother and sister in law, Mike and Tammy Bell of Kosciusko, MS, and many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Parkway Cemetery, 823 S Huntington St. Kosciusko, MS 39090.
