Irvin Kelly "Slim" Williams, Sr., 83, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at his home. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 18 and Tuesday from 2-3 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 19 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Thomastown Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Sutherland will officiate. He was an avid hunter and outdoors man. He was a hard working family man. He was a former owner and operator of K & S Franchise and owner of Shipley Donuts. He was self-employed most of his life. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ellington Williams of Thomastown; son, James Kelly Williams; daughters, Beth McLellan, Sara Barnette, and Linda Williams; seven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren; brother, Henry "Son" Gordon Williams; and sister, Martha Lynn Orr and Mary Richards. He was preceded in death by his parents; Guy Irvin and Lenora Lucille Shearer Williams; and sister, Betty Taylor and Annie Ruth Chipley. Pallbearers are Teddy Harkins, Chris Crutcher, Randy Patterson, Jason Mattiace, Duane Lacey, and Charles Pender. Honorary pallbearer is John Lary "Skippy" Ellington.
