Hilda Frazier Sanders

Hilda Frazier Sanders, 80, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 14 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko and 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. Thursday at the Kosciusko First United Pentecostal Church in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Friday, February 16 at the church with burial to follow in Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Charles Fisher and Rev. Shannon Pennington will officiate. She was a graduate of Thomastown High School, a member of Second Baptist Church and was the 5th EMT in the State of Mississippi. She was the co-owner and co-operator of Sanders Independent Ambulance Service and proudly served as the Attala County Coroner Ranger. Survivors include two daughters, Rita Sanders and Vicky Abel, both of Kosciusko; nephew, James Frazier of Kosciusko; three grandchildren, Amanda (Jason) DuBard, Ayme (Dustin) Blakely, and Brittani (Jayson) Self; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. "Stubby" Sanders; parents, Charlie and Mattie Leola Chunn Frazier; siblings, Marcel Frazier, Clifton Frazier, Mabel McClellan, Ersle Fisher; granddaughter, Ashley Shea Goodman; and step-son, James Lamar "Jimmy" Sanders. Pallbearers are James Frazier, "Lil" Billy Sanders, Brandon Crowson, Cash White, Hayden Burns, Jayson Self, Dustin Blakely, and Jamie Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Frazier, Cedric Frazier, Bimbo Sanders, Butch McGlothin, Danny Fisher, Jason DuBard, and Galen Sanders.
