Herbert W. Thweatt, 86, died Friday, June19, 2015 at the Martha Jo Leslie Veteran Home in Kosciusko. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Sunday, June 21 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Isaac Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Meggs and Rev. Ricky Summers will officiate. He was a member of the Yockanookany Baptist Church, life time member of the VFW, Paralyzed Veterans Association, PVA, DAV, the American Legion, and the United States Army 33rd Infantry Division. Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Thweatt of Kosciusko; sons, Bobby (Brenda) Thweatt of Kosciusko and Randy (Mandy) Thweatt of Saltillo, MS; grandchildren, Christy (Philip) Buddington, LeighAnn (Daniel) Norwood, and Sharon (Jonathan) Massey, Ross Livingston, Anna Laura Livingston; great-grandchildren, Brian Buddington, Codi Buddington, Kate Norwood, Kinley Norwood, Natalee Massey, and John Paul Massey; and sister, Nina Barrett of Kosciusko. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mae Ware Thweatt; and brother, Purvis Thweatt. Pallbearers are Philip Buddington, Jonathan Massey, Daniel Norwood, Ross Livingston, Larry Crittenden, and Dale McMillan.
