Grady Edward Gray

Grady Edward "Eddie" Gray was born July 25, 1944 and moved to his new address with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Eddie was 72 years old. Eddie was a faithful member of the Thomastown Baptist Church. He served as the Discipleship Training Director and Discipleship Training Teacher. He was also a member of the church choir. He worked in the automotive parts business for many years then went on to G&O Manufacturing in Jackson, MS. He worked at G&O for over 20 years until he retired in 2006. He continued to work in his retired years at H&H Chief Sales in Carthage, MS until the present time. Eddie enjoyed life with a passion for football, hunting, fishing, taking care of his dog & cows, and most importantly loving the Lord and his family. He loved his wife, kids, and grandchildren with all of his heart, and all of them shared many of the same interests with him. Eddie enjoyed collecting guns and knives. He continued with this hobby by accompanying his loving wife of 16 years, Alice, to flea markets, auctions, and yard sales. You would never see one without the other. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, LeeAnna Johnson Gray, his father Grady H. Gray, and a brother Tony Gray. He is survived by his wife, Alice Langdon Gray, his sons, Tim Gray (wife Trudi), Todd Gray (wife Heather), his grandchildren Blake, Conner, Jase, Austin, and Josh, his brothers Ricky Gray (wife Nancy), James Gray (wife Helen), his nieces Cindy Freeman, Dawn Atkinson, Christy Miller, his nephew Jim Gray, his stepchildren Donna Shelley (husband David), Jimmy Langdon (fiancé' Dawn), his step grandchild Jacob Shelley (wife Rebecca). Arrangements are as follows: Visitation at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, Oct. 14th with the funeral at Thomastown Baptist Church at 11am on Saturday, Oct. 15th followed by burial at Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Joe Jones, Johnny Adams, Richie Atkinson, Glenn Lepard, and Wade Moore. Service will be conducted by Brother Brian Hill.
