George S. Clegg Columbus, MS formerly of Kosciusko George Swinton Clegg, 89, passed away June 28, 2020 at the State Veterans Home in Oxford, MS. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kosciusko City Cemetery. Rev. Barry Corbett will officiate. He was of the Presbyterian/Methodist faith. He served in the Army/Air Force in Korea and Japan during the Korean Conflict as a jet mechanic. Survivors include his son, Joe (Traci) Clegg of Booneville; daughter, Pat Holliday of Columbus; and grandson, Eddie Holliday of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Comfort Clegg; parents, Berryman and Mary Helen Wasson Clegg; and brother, James Clegg.
