George Ronald Moffett Kosciusko George Ronald Moffett, 63, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at the G. V. Sonny Montgomery Veterans Home in Jackson. Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Doty Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Daniel Fortenberry will officiate. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Jan Moffett of Kosciusko; sons, George Moffett, Jr. of Jackson, Joseph W. Moffett of Kosciusko, and Joseph A. Moffett of Kosciusko; daughters, Amy Thornton of Carmack and Rebacca Swindle of Greenwood; eleven grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Moffett, Courtney Moffett, Hayden Moffett, Chris Moffett, Ridley Moffett, Eli Cauthen, James Swindle, Curtis Thornton, Ronny Earl Thornton, Joshua Swindle, and Dustin Wade Thornton. He was preceded in death his parents, George Daniel and Margie Jaree Jones Moffett. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
