George Clay Busbea

December 10, 1930 — February 8, 2014

George Clay Busbea, Sr., 83, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Hospice Ministries. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. He was a past deacon and was a member of the social club at his retirement facility the Buford Yeager Retirement Center. Survivors include: son, Buzz Busbea and wife, Beth of Flowood, MS; daughter, Cindy Thompson and husband, Bobby of Olive Branch, MS and Beth Johnson and husband Ronnie, of Denham Springs, LA; granddaughters, Melissa Samsel, Kara Broussard, Rebecca Thompson, Emily Thompson, and Jesse Busbea; great-grandchildren, Molly, Paul Joseph, Ezra, Aemilia, Noah, and Aria; brother, David Busbea of Kosciusko; and sisters, Barbara English of Grenada and Betty Odom of Covington, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Busbea, Sr. and Annie Rechtin Busbea; and wife, Emily Sims Busbea.
