Fred Alvin Parish

Fred Alvin Parish, 74, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is from 9:30-10 a.m. Saturday, July 15 at Bear Creek Baptist Church with the memorial service to follow at 10 a.m. and burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Chet Ferguson and Rev. Bobby Parish will officiate. He was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson. He was a current member of Bear Creek Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Deniece Wade Parish of McCool; son, Eric Parish of Brentwood, TN; daughter, Maura Renfroe of Brandon; numerous grandchildren; sister, Diane Pruitt of Kosciusko; one aunt; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ludie Milner Parish; and sister, Paula Poche`. Honorary pallbearers are Loyd Thornton, Charles Ponchay, Doug Brewer, Jimmy Pruitt, Dr. Stanley Hartness, John Austin, and Jimmy Pettit.
