Frances O'Bryant

Frances O’Bryant, 89, of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home. The funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Berea Cemetery. Rev. Donald Self is officiating the services.
Frances was born December 20, 1934, to Roy Elmore Thomas and Florence Carney Thomas. She retired from Garan factory, and a member of Second Baptist Church.
Frances is survived by her son, Chester O’Bryant of Kosciusko, Mississippi; daughters, Nancy (Anthony) Skelton of Kosciusko, Mississippi and Ruth (Bob) Moers of Florida; brother, Charles (Karen) Thomas of Iowa; sisters, Brenda (Calvin) Smith of McCool and Bonnie Partridge of Ruleville, Mississippi; grandchildren, Vicki Carr, Frankie Sanschargrin, Charles Warren, Jessica Pope, Heather Guerrero, and Mark Skelton; and great-grandchildren, Gabriella Guerrero and Everleigh Guerrero.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Thomas and Florence Thomas, husband, James O’Bryant, son, James O’Bryant, daughter, Linda Sanschargrin, sisters, Ann Reynolds, Dorothy Hall, Katie Phillips, and brother, James Thomas.
Serving as pallbearers are Mark Skelton, Bubba Steen, Adam Steen, Dallas Bright, Jonathan Guerrero, and Stevie Burchfield. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Curtis Pope, Bryn Bright, and Chris Bright.
