Frances Moody Vinz

Frances M. Vinz Kosciusko Frances Moody Vinz, 95, died Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 2 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Friday, June 3 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Palmertree will officiate. She was born in the Frostbridge Community near Waynesboro, MS. She lived a short time in Wisconsin and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include brothers, Hugh Leland Moody of Kosciusko and James Orland Moody of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Helen Moody Dennis of Florence, MS and Dorothy Ann Deruiter of Signal Mount, TN; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil P Vinz; parents, Emery and Maude Murdock Moody; and a sister, Ruth Sallis. Pallbearers are Thomas L. Moody, Sr, Thomas L. Moody, II, Glenn Dennis, Larry V. Moody, Zachary V. Moody, and Jason Warren. Honorary pallbearer is Hugh Leland Moody.
