Florence Sands Prevost

Mrs. Florence Sands Prevost of Kosciusko, age 97,died on Friday, August 24, 2018 in Columbus, MS at Vineyard Court Nursing Center. Graveside services will be 5:00 pm Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Parkway Cemetery with Rev. Bill Heard officiating. She was born September 20, 1920 in Buckingham, Pennsylvania to Herbert and Margaret Krewson Sands. She was a member of the Kosciusko First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Prevost Roberts,and her husband Ed of Starkville,; three grandchildren Kara Roberts and Vicki Roberts of Starkville and Christopher Roberts and his wife Sandra of Spring Hill, Tennessee.; six great-grandchildren Naomi, Hannah, Brendan, Erin, Leona, and Alice Roberts of Spring Hill, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lt.USN (Ret), Alton E. Prevost and their son Richard Alan Prevost; two sisters, Marie Sands Webster and Elsie Sands Clevenstine.
