Florence Marie Harmon

Florence Marie Harmon, 95, passed away at the Lodge in Zachary, Louisiana, on Friday, April 7, 2023. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko, MS. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am from the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pilgrims’ Rest Church Cemetery in Bethesda, Arkansas. Rev. Art Land will officiate the services.
Marie was born to Elbert and Ava Lee Fugatt on March 24, 1928, the oldest of five children. Marie and her husband owned the local cable television company in Kosciusko. After retirement, they both volunteered at the Attala County Helping Hands Ministry. After the death of her husband, Marie continued her volunteer work at the local nursing home. She volunteered her talents for the residents by making neck pillows, lap throws, and tote bags for walkers. Marie was an active member of Parkway Baptist Church.
She was survived by three sisters, Maxcine Gullic, Peggy Maddox, and Janice Weatherly (J.R.), and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, mother-in-law, Annie and Robert Harmon, Sr.; brother, Elbert Fugatt, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Bobby D. Gullic, and Charles Harmon (Jane).
