Ernestine Cockroft Rule

Ernestine Rule, 84, died at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital on March 12, 2015. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2105 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Brister Cemetery in Hesterville. Rev. Ralph Hunt will officiate. Mrs. Ernestine Rule was born on April 13, 1930 in the Singleton Community in Leake County. She was a member of Conway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Rule; son, Wesley David Rule; parents, Clay and Selma Dowell Cockroft; brother, Ralph Cockroft; sisters, Mildred Sanders, Tiny Swain, Frances Meacham, Joyce Isackson, and her twin, Bobbie Davis. She is survived by her son, Tommy Rule (Theresa); grandchildren, Crystal Rule and Jennifer Rule; great-grandchildren, Madyson Walton, Makenzie Walton, and Lily Coleman; brothers, Dalton Cockroft, Jimmy Dan Cockroft, and Jack Cockroft; and sisters, Pat Schroeder, Ruby Stewart, and Louise Salers. Pallbearers are Bob Alexander, Mike Davis, Paul Davis, Larry Howard, Mike Howard, and Tim Oakes. Memorial may be made to the Gideons International or the Brister Cemetery Fund.
