Emmie V. "Polly" Lepard, 85, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Choctaw Living Residential Center. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 17 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 18th in the Seneasha Cemetery with burial to follow. Rev. Curtis Pace will officiate. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church is Philadelphia, MS. She loved to help people by donating her time to outreach ministries. She would give you the shirt off her back and was always able to help others find the silver lining in life. She loved to read and owned a bookstore. She loved playing puzzles, dancing, painting and she was the life of the party. She also enjoyed seeing other people smile. She loved her family and to help others succeed. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Stephens of Wylie, TX; grandchildren, Ian Stephens and Will Stephens; brothers, Fulton (Brenda) Lepard of Philadelphia, MS and Leo "Swanton" Leopard of FL; sister-in-law, Deanna Chambers Leopard; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rule; brothers, Winford Lepard and Ernest Lepard; and sister, Mildred Steed. Pallbearers are Ian Stephens, Will Stephens, Glenn Leopard, Dwight Lepard, Kenny Steed, and Chuck Stephens. Online condolences can be made at jordanfuneralhome.com.
