Emery Therrell,75, of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away January 5, 2023 at Baptist-Attala Hospital. Visitation is 12:30 p.m.- 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Kosciusko City Cemetery. Rev. Shannon Pennington and Joe Roby will officiate.
Emery was born October 18, 1947 in Attala County to J.D. Therrell and Jimmie Sweatt Therrell. He was disabled and of the Baptist faith. He loved NASCAR and horses.
Emery is survived by sister Ella Mae Spears; multitude of nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents J.D. and Jimmie Sweatt Therrell; siblings Janette Brumley, Mary E. Spears, Willie (Johnny) Roby, Bill (Martha) Therrell and Paul (Dottie) Therrell, and Jimmy D. (Bonnie) Therrell.
Serving as pallbearers Kenny Wright, Jesse Crosby, Jr., Terry Parkinson, Houston Therrell, Tootie McCrory, Brad McCrory, Allen Sherman, Haywood Therrell Spears, Jr., and Scott Therrell.
