Edith McDaniel, 97, of Raymond, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Stonewall Cemetery near Ethel. Randy Rhodes will officiate the service, and Jordan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Edith is a retired secretary with the Jackson Police Department and enjoyed gardening as well as spending time with her daughters.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Smith of Ridgeland, MS and Brenda (Alex) Little of Brandon, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Maudie Thompson Blaine, and husband, James E. McDaniel.
