Dwyn Parkhurst Welch 78, of Kosciusko, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 11, with graveside services at the City Cemetery. Rev. Barry Corbett will officiate. He is a veteran of the US Army. He received 5 purple hearts, Bronze Star, Bronze Star for Valor and RVN Gallantry Cross w/Palm during his service. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Urla Welch. He is survived by his brother Albert Welch and wife Susie of Houston, Texas; nephew Albert Welch Jr. and wife Kellye, great nephews, Matthew and Tyler of Henderson, Nevada; Tom Welch and wife Laura and nephew Caleb of Lakewood, Colorado; cousins, Thomas Craft, Joanne Fiedler, Weldon Harris of Kosciusko, Ann Fletcher of Louisiana, and Tom Land of Madison, MS.
