Our precious daddy and husband, Doyle Dean Rone, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 6, 2022 with his wife, Linda, at his side. Dean was born September 23, 1941 in Ethel, MS to Clyde and Zelma Riddell Rone. He graduated from Ethel High School, attended Holmes Community College and completed Jackson Barber College. He was self-employed as a much-loved and respected barber in Kosciusko for 54 years. Dean was a Mason and a faithful member of Parkway Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and on various committees. He loved all things outdoors, including gardening and deer and turkey hunting. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Zelma Rone, and his brothers, Denzil Rone and Dwight Rone. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 59 years, Linda Thompson Rone; one son, Les Rone of Kosciusko; three daughters, Deanna Rone Brent (Randy) of Hattiesburg, Laurie Rone Miller of Olive Branch and Dr. Diana Rone Tate (Jason) of Brandon. Dean also leaves behind eight precious grandchildren, Ross and Davis Brent; Matt, Hayden and Colton Miller; Rone Thomas, Edie and Max Tate, and one sweet great-grandchild, Lacie Miller. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, January 11th at Jordan Funeral Home and again at 10 to 10:45 on Wednesday, January 12th at Parkway Baptist Church with a service at 11 am at Parkway Baptist Church with Rev. Don Cook and Rev. Jerry Meggs officiating. Pallbearers will by Ross Brent, Matt Miller, Hayden Miller, Colton Miller, Jason Tate, and Randy Brent. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rone Thomas Tate, Edie Tate, and Max Tate. The family respectfully asks that all in attendance wear masks.
