Douglas Earl Mayo

Douglas Earl Mayo, 69, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, September 2 at Ethel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 3 at Ethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Dewitt Bain and Rev. Ralph Hunt will officiate. He was a member of Ethel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He owned Country Mower Services for nearly 20 years. He also was a sales consultant at Pearl River Outdoors in Kosciusko. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Shuler Mayo of Ethel; daughter, Terri B (Jason C.) Hall of Katy, TX; and three brothers, James Clifford "Cliff" (Drunette) Mayo of Kosciusko, Rickey (Dale) Mayo of Ethel, and Hoy (Robin) Mayo of Ethel. He was preceded in death his daughter, Sheila R.
