Dot Dendy of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center- Attala. Visitation is 11: 30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Dan West will officiate the services.
Dot was born November 11, 1940, in Attala County, Mississippi to Charles Clifton Hutchison and Ollie Pearl Dickerson Hutchison. She was a traffic manager with Globe-Weis, and also worked at Bluff Springs Paper, Electric Cord Sets, and for Allied Enterprises-MS Department of Vocational Services. Dot was a member of Springdale Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Don (Kristie) Dendy of Schertz, Texas; daughter, Lisa Dendy of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; brother Danny Hutchison of Flowood, Mississippi; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Clifton Hutchison and Ollie Pearl Hutchison, husband, Donald Dendy, brothers, Charles Hutchison, Jim Hutchison, sisters, Earlene McClain, Sue Wise, and Faye Ainsworth.
