Dorothy Ellington Waldie

Dorothy Laverne Ellington Waldie, 89, died Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 in the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Meggs and Rev. Glen Ellington will officiate. She was a member of the Williamsville Assembly of God. Survivors include brother, Robert Ellington, Jr. of Kosciusko; sister, Ethelene Smith of Kosciusko; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Waldie and Perry Savell; parents, Robert and Ophelia Fisher Ellington; sisters, Dessie Moore, Louella "Sue" Shelley, Zelma Lee Moore, Essie Mae Ables and Melba Tanksley; and brothers, Arthur Ellington and Junior Ellington. Pallbearers are Don Smith, Terry Ellington, Roger Ables, Steven Warren, Bobby Ray Edwards, and Micah Busbea.
