Diane Cwiklik

Diane Cuevas Cwiklik, 72, of Kosciusko, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Diane was born to Levance Cuevas and Wilma M. Ladner in Gulfport, Mississippi on March 12, 1952. She lived and grew up in Kiln, Mississippi before moving to the Mississippi Delta and subsequently to Kosciusko.

She especially loved babysitting and interacting with children as a school crossing guard. She also worked as a welder’s helper at Irby Steel and machine operator at Globe Weis and Atapco for many years before retiring from Bluff Springs Paper Company. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Kosciusko, Mississippi.

Diane is survived by her husband, Edward Cwiklik, of Kosciusko, Mississippi; son, Jason Cwiklik (Salem Boohaker) of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Gwen Cwiklik of Brandon, Mississippi and Rachel Cwiklik of Brandon, Mississippi; sister, Judy Cuevas of Kiln, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Levance Cuevas and Wilma Cuevas; sisters Willie Mae Necaise and Glenda Ladner; and her brother Charles Cuevas.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Jordan Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, at St. Therese Catholic Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024, at St. Therese Catholic Church. Father Marco Antonio Sanchez will be officiating the service.
