Dennis W. "Sundance" Newsom

Mr. Dennis W. “Sundance” Newsom, 62, of Hickory Flat, passed away January 11, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 15th at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday at Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Art Land and Rev. Ronnie Spears will officiate. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Newsom worked as a truck driver for most of his life, the past 22 ½ years he drove for Wal-Mart. He is survived by his wife, Cyndi Newsom of Hickory Flat; mother, Shirley Newsom of Kosciusko; daughter, Amy Newsom of Atlanta, GA; step-daughter, Kristen Watler of Spanish Fort, AL; brother, Larry (Cindy) Newsom of Kosciusko; grandchildren, Ford, Saylor Jane and Lakely Watler; nephew, Jake Newsom; niece, Amie Guttery. He is preceded in death by his father, Dinson D. Newsom. Pallbearers will be Joe Chipley, Tom Jordan, Mark Massey, Zach Guttery, Kevin Riley, Jeremy Watler. Honorary Pallbearer Jake Newsom. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
