Dean Phillips Frazier, 87, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, at her home in Brandon. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Rev. Jeremy Tillman will officiate the services.
Dean lived in Greenville, MS for 38 years and worked as a bookkeeper for England Motors and Shapley Contractors, all while maintaining books for her husband at C.V Frazier excavating. She was a member of the Williamsville Baptist Church and the Lady Landowners club and enjoyed volunteering at the Kosciusko visitor center on the Natchez Trace. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to Gloria Smith for her exceptional help in the care of Mrs. Dean.
She is survived by one son, Carl Vernon Frazier, Jr of Leland, MS; two daughters, Jonee Nations of Brandon, MS, and Deborah Giompoletti of Florence, MS; five grandchildren, Steven (Shannon) Giompoletti, Veronica (Robbie) Mitchell, Bree Cook, Katie Cook, and Caroline Nations; four great-grandchildren, Scarlett Mitchell, Stella Mitchell, Cole Giompoletti, and McKayla Howard. A host of nieces and nephews also survives her.
Dean is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Emma Burkes Phillips; husband, Carl V. Frazier; two brothers, Dan Phillips and J.D. Phillips; two sisters, Lita Boyce Ray and Doris Bell.
