Dave J. Dees

Dave J. Dees, 86, died on July 27, 2014 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko. Graveside services will be Tuesday at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Rev. Allen Dees will officiate. He was born April 14, 1928 to David and Robbie Otto Dees. He retired from the Lauderdale County Mississippi Highway Department as superintendent of 30 plus years. He returned home to Attala County to be with his family. He was a Baptist and a member of the Masonic Mason of King Solomon Lodge #333 in Meridian, MS. He loved his coffee time with friends and will truly be missed by all. He is survived by his sisters, Joyce D. Leone (Frank) and Floyce D. Brock (Clinton), both of Kosciusko; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Marion Dees, Marce Dees, Jim Dees, and Earnest Dees. Pallbearers will be Marcus Dees, Brock McCrory, Joe David Gibson, Ray Dees, Billy Jim Dees, and Dan Gove.
