Danny Parish

Thomas Daniel “Danny” Parish, 72, of McCool, Mississippi, passed away on February 9, 2025, at his daughter’s residence. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2025, at Bear Creek Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2025, at Bear Creek Church, with a burial at Bear Creek Cemetery. Rev. Nathan Wright will officiate the services. 

Danny was born November 30, 1952, in Mississippi, to his parents, Claudia Daniel Parish and Leslie Doyce Nowell Parish. He served in the Mississippi National Guard, worked on the pipeline, and drove a truck. He was a member of Huntsville Church of Christ. 

Danny is survived by his son, Joseph Parish of McCool, Mississippi; daughters, April Hathaway and Karley Parish of Palm Bay, Florida, and Andrea (Jernamy) Gee of Oxford, Mississippi; grandchildren, Erica Johnson, Alexander Weaver, Zackary Peacock, Drew Bradford, Lane Bradford, Lawson Bradford, Kinsley Gee, Jernamy Gee, Jr., Kai Gee, and Nico Gee; and brother, Timothy Parish of McCool, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudia Parish and Leslie Nowell Parish. 

Serving as pallbearers are Alexander Weaver, Jernamy Gee, Zackary Peacock, Butch Bright, Logan Carter, and Mike Parish.
