Danny Goza

Danny Lee Goza, 73, of Kosciusko, MS, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on May 21, 2022. A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date. Danny was born on May 17, 1949, to E. B. (Blair) and Ruby Goza from Kosciusko. He graduated from Kosciusko High School in 1967 where his passion for music was introduced. He completed his education at Mississippi State University where he graduated with honors and obtained a master’s degree in Instrumental Music. He was also a member of the fraternity chapter Lambda Chi Alpha. Danny was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Goza was retired from teaching and band directing from Arkansas and Mississippi high schools. He was well known for his wit and loved by so many. Danny is survived by his wife of 50 years Cindy Goza; daughters, Renee Goza and Jennifer Clardy; grandsons, Trace Edwards, Ty and Cash Clardy; a nephew, a niece, and abundance of great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the MSU Foundation at P.O. Box 6149 Mississippi State, Mississippi 39762.
