Carol Ann Larson Whitman

Carol Ann Larson Whitman, 71, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Baptist-Attala Hospital in Kosciusko. Visitation is from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, September 16 at the Abundant Life Church of God in Williamsville with services to follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Jimmie Smith will officiate. She attended the Abundant Life Church of God, where she taught Sunday school. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to her family. Survivors include her sons, Michael Whitman (Becky), and Paul David Whitman, both of Kosciusko; her daughters, Martha "Sissy" Dees of Ethel, Julianna Dees (Roy) of Ethel, and Jeanette Ford (Darren) of Vancleave, MS; thirteen grandchildren, Brooklyn Whitman, Michael Whitman, Jr, John Wesley Dees (Marlaina), Phillip Dees, Gracie Vowell, Miranda Stevenson (Patrick), Adrinna Beckham (Alex), Chance Dees, Stephanie Hill (Hunter), Preston Barrett, Gaven Ford, Eva Grace Frazier, and Darrin Ford, Jr; five great-grandchildren, John Paul Dees, Corbin Stevenson, Addison Beckham, Allie Beckham, and Caroline Rose Hill; sister, Helen Rhodes of Texarkana, TX; host of nieces and nephews; and special friends of the family, Briana Threet, Jasmine Sanders, and J. K. Paige. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Lucille Peterson Larson; brothers, Johnny Larson, Delmer Larson, Jr, and Joe Larson; sister, Mary Larson; and son-in-law, Paul Dees.
